Plasma fibroblast treatment is a nonsurgical skin-tightening procedure that uses a high energy discharge to make a small wound in the skin. This can encourage cells known as fibroblasts to repair the skin and maintain firmness. Nonsurgical skin tightening is a relatively common procedure.

We recommend you avoid sun-tanning, spray-tanning, tanning injections and sunbeds for 4 to 6 weeks before your treatment. Ideally, we recommend using SPF30+ to prep your skin for 2 to 4 weeks before your treatment, especially if you are naturally darker-skinned.
How long does swelling last after plasma pen?
Swelling and inflammation for 1 – 5 days post-treatment is normal and to be expected. You may also experience a stinging sensation in the treated area. This is normal and fades within 24 hours. Skin may feel tight and dry with possible itching of the treated area.
Can you have Botox after fibroblast?
You can have botox treatment anytime after plasma fibroblast treatment. It is a great combination treatment. Ensure you keep your skin well hydrated with good water intake, protect with a good high quality sunscreen, and eat a high antioxidant diet that includes consistent use of fruit and vegetables
How do I take care of my skin after fibroblast?
Please refrain from scratching any areas that are healing. If you develop areas of raw skin post treatment, keep them moist with the provided ointment and our Fibroblast Aftercare. You do not need to apply band-aids, but keep the areas moist and do not pick at them.
• Ice the treated area (use a clean tea towel/paper towel to cover the ice pack each use) alternating 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off for up to 1 hour for the first 2 days.
• Keep the treated area clean using a mild unscented glycerin or Dove unscented soap 2x day (morning & night). Gently splash the area with cool water and very gently cleanse with soap and rinse thoroughly. Use very mild/gentle pressure when cleansing the area. DRY VERY WELL – PAT DRY- KEEP DRY! Make sure the skin feels dry and tight before applying aftercare gel.
• Gently apply the aftercare gel (with clean hands or applicator provided) to the treated area as needed to help relieve pain/itching each day until your scabs fall off on their own.
• IMPORTANT! Allow scabs to come off on their own. This will ensure the best possible healed result and avoid scarring and infection. Do NOT pick for any reason!
• Do not apply makeup (even mineral makeup) until the scabbing is complete. This is to avoid infection or disrupting the scabs prematurely.
• IMPORTANT! Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds to the treated area- Once the scabbing process is complete, always apply broad spectrum SPF to the area for a minimum of 3 months after your last treatment. This skin is still healing and can easily become damaged by any UV rays and may cause hyperpigmentation and/or premature aging.
• Do NOT apply any home remedies, plasters (liquid bandaid) or ointments other than what is provided to you. This may delay the intended healing process and or cause infection.
• Do not workout, swim, hot tub or steam bath until scabs have exfoliated.
• BE PATIENT WITH THE HEALING PROCESS AND ALLOW YOURSELF TIME TO REST & HEAL.
